The Cincinnati Bengals’ 2023 season has gotten off to a much slower start than many expected.  Prior to Week One, the Bengals were one of the betting favorites to be a Super Bowl contender this year.  However, after falling to 0-2, many are questioning if this team still has what it takes.

To make matters worse, in Sunday’s 27-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow re-aggravated a calf injury.  As the game came to an end, Burrow limped to the sidelines and used a massage gun to loosen up his calf.  The potential injury came after a 4-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Tee Higgins late in the fourth quarter.

In spite of the fact that he has been able to play for the last couple of weeks, he had previously been unable to participate in training camp and preseason due to an injury suffered on July 27th (which was also a calf injury).

In Week 1, Burrow was held to 82 yards through the air in a 24-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns.  Burrow went 27-41, 222 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception Vs. the Ravens.  When Bengals fans saw Burrow could have potentially re-injured his calf, social media exploded:

I’d say that too if I stole 300 million dollars and started 0-2
