Christian Watson, wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers, is expecting his first child with his wife, Lakyn Adkins Watson, whom he married last year. Lakyn shared a couple of pictures from her maternity photoshoot in which she is wearing a white t-shirt and unbuttoned jeans. In the first picture, her husband Watson is hugging her from behind, while in the second one, Lakyn poses next to a window, caressing her baby bump.
According to Lakyn’s caption, the couple is expecting a baby boy, who is due in sometime. Lakyn met Watson at North Dakota State University and immediately hit it off. After dating for a couple of years, the pair tied the knot in 2024.

Christian Watson will be putting even more effort into this upcoming football season with the Green Bay Packers, when compared to his previous year. Watson, who has been an integral part of the team since 2022, is expected to be even more important as the team targets a better record in comparison to the 2024 NFL season.

Earlier this year, Watson injured his knee and tore his ACL during the final game of the regular season against the Bears. The injury sidelined Watson for the rest of the season, and the wide-out required surgery for the same. While he has mostly recovered from the surgery, Watson is reported to miss the first few games of the upcoming NFL season.

Christian Watson May Move To Pittsburgh Steelers
While there have been positive updates regarding Christian Watson’s knee injury and concurrent rehabilitation, there have also been rumors that the wide receiver may actually find himself traded out of the team pretty soon. According to recent reports, Watson may be traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have shown interest in the player Christian Watson.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are eager to build their offensive line around their newly signed starting quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers was part of the Green Bay Packers for a long time before he moved to the New York Jets. The Jets released Rodgers back in March and the Steelers immediately made a move to bring him into their roster. If Watson does join the Steelers, the move will strategically improve Pittsburgh’s offensive line with Rodgers as QB.
