San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and his wife celebrate her birthday, following a Parisian-themed baby shower in Rhode Island.
In an Instagram story, Olivia Culpo, wife of Chris McCaffrey, showed off her 33rd birthday celebration she had with her friends. She captioned her story, showing gratitude for the people who were there for her.
“Love you guys,” Culpo wrote in her caption
Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo first sparked dating rumors in May 2019, when McCaffrey liked one of Culpo’s Instagram posts. A few months later, they were spotted vacationing together in Mexico, confirming their budding romance.
By November 2019, Culpo made their relationship Instagram official, and she became a regular presence at McCaffrey’s Carolina Panthers games, cheering him on from the sidelines.
When McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2022, Culpo expressed her excitement, calling it a new chapter for them. In April 2023, McCaffrey proposed to Culpo during a vacation in Utah, and they tied the knot on June 29, 2024, in a coastal wedding in Rhode Island.
Less than a year later, in March 2025, they announced they were expecting their first child together, marking another milestone in their journey
49ers Gives Update on Christian McCaffery Injury Recovery: “He’s Doing Great”
In a recent press interview, 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak talked about the injury and recovery status of their running back Christian McCaffrey. According to the interview, McCaffrey is doing great, and the team is looking forward to having him back on the offense.
“You guys saw in 2023 how important he is to what we want to be as an offense,” Kubiak said. “He’s an elite player, and we’re going to do everything we can to give him the ball as much as we can. And yeah, his health is really important. He’s one of our central players on offense. We want to hand him the ball, we want to throw him the ball.
“How he changes defenses when he’s on the field, for how they have to play us in certain coverages, putting more guys in the box to stop the run, like it has an effect on the opponents.”
“Christian’s doing great. He looks awesome, and we’re pumped up that he’s out there working every day. So I look forward to getting him back out there full time.”
Christian McCaffrey had a challenging 2024-2025 season with the San Francisco 49ers, recording 202 rushing yards on 50 attempts, averaging 4.04 yards per carry, with a longest run of 19 yards. In the receiving game, he totaled 146 yards on 15 receptions, averaging 9.73 yards per catch, with a longest reception of 30 yards.
