The Kansas City Chiefs have made a few recent moves on defense
The Chiefs made some major moves in the previous two weeks on defense. They applied the franchise tag to L’Jarius Sneed. They granted permission to Sneed to seek a trade. The Chiefs extended linebacker Drue Tranquill to a three-year deal this week.
Jones contract was the biggest question mark on the Chiefs roster heading into this offseason. The Chiefs can breathe a sigh of relief knowing he’ll be back to help the team compete for a threepeat for the 2024 season.
