The Chicago Bears suffered a heartbreaking loss on Sunday when they lined up to kick a game-winning field goal against their biggest rival, the Green Bay Packers. However, the kick was blocked, and the Bears lost in horrible fashion once again.

Chicago already fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron last week, and there is a great chance head coach Matt Eberflus will also be gone at the end of the season.
With the Bears being 4-6 and most likely out of the playoffs, it’s time to turn over to mock drafts, and on Tuesday, a new one came out, having Chicago get some defensive help.
Chicago Bears Land A Defensive Star
Gordon McGuinness from Pro Football Focus published a Chicago Bears six-round mock draft and has the team selecting Texas A&M pass rusher Nick Scourton with the 15th pick and stated” The Bears have gotten solid production off the edge in 2024, with Montez Sweat earning a 67.8 PFF pass-rushing grade and DeMarcus Walker coming in at 64.5, so this isn’t a huge need — but more of a best player available scenario. Scourton has been solid this season, but he dominated in 2023 at Purdue, where he earned a 90.9 PFF pass-rushing grade.”
The Bears could use some more help along the defensive line, but drafting an offensive lineman might be the way to go this April.
Chicago needs to do a better job protecting their young quarterback, Caleb Williams. If he doesn’t get better protection next year, he could end up a bust.

The Bears will most likely be hiring an offensive-minded head coach this offseason, so the team might draft a player on that side of the ball.
