Former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has signed on as the offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders. Despite reportedly turning down a job from the Las Vegas Raiders, Kingsbury ultimately chose to join the Commanders.
Many NFL fans, especially those who support the Bears, were surprised by Kingsbury’s decision. The Bears hold the #1 overall pick in the 2024 draft. A lot of Bears fans want the team to select USC QB Caleb Williams with this pick. However, there are rumors that the Washington Commanders, who have the #2 pick, are trying to move up to #1 to draft Williams. This move is motivated by the fact that the Commanders have just hired Kingsbury, Williams’s former college coach, and they believe that he could be a generational QB for their team.
