The Arizona State Sun Devils are starting to make some noise at the right time in the BIG12 Conference. On Saturday, they won against the BYU Cougars 28-23. Arizona State and BYU are both 9-2 overall and 6-2 in BIG12 Conference play this season.
The Iowa State Cyclones are also 9-2 overall and are 6-2 in conference play. As for the Colorado Buffaloes, they are 8-3 overall and are 6-2 in the BIG12. It will be interesting to see who plays each other in the BIG12 Championship Game in two weeks.
Arizona State Sun Devils Are Ranked 14th in the AP Top 25
On Sunday, the Sun Devils were ranked 14th in the AP Top 25. Arizona State has the highest ranking at this point out of any BIG12 Conference teams in the polls. This is a good sign for the Arizona State Sun Devils ahead of Tuesday’s college football playoff rankings.
It will be interesting to see what the rankings will look like then. Arizona State has been a major surprise late in the college football season.

All the Arizona State Sun Devils have to do to get to the BIG12 Championship Game next weekend is to beat the Arizona Wildcats this weekend in another BIG12 Conference matchup. Kenny Dillingham is in his second season as the head coach of this football program. Arizona State controls its destiny to make the college football playoffs and that’s probably why they are the highest-ranked team at the moment from the BIG12 Conference.
