Cam Newton, former NFL quarterback, apparently does not like his baby mamas to think that they’re single parents, according to the latest episode of his podcast ‘Funky Friday’. Newton has multiple children with different women and is also expecting a ninth child soon. Despite his children and his baby mamas having an unconventional setting, Newton does not see it any differently than a stable and supportive home.
With his ex-girlfriend, Cam Newton has four children and another with LaReina Shaw. With Jasmin Brown, Newton’s current girlfriend, the retired quarterback has one child and the pair is about to welcome another child pretty soon. Newton also helps raise La Reina Shaw’s son, Jaden, from a previous relationship.
“I don’t even like my baby mamas saying they’re single parents. You’ve got too much support. “The woman I’m with now knows about each person I procreated with. That’s just the alpha male in me. Last year in March, Cam Newton and Jasmin Brown said ‘hello’ to their first baby together. Brown shared some time back on her Instagram, giving her fans and followers an update on her growing pregnancy with Newton’s baby.
After his time in the National Football League, Cam Newton seems to have turned to broadcasting with his highly successful podcast ‘Funky Friday’. Newton played for more than ten seasons with the NFL, mainly with the Carolina Panthers.
Cam Newton Unhappy With Madden’s Treatment
A few days ago, Cam Newton admitted on his ‘4th and 1’ podcast that he was unfairly treated by EA Madden during his time with the NFL. When Newton was simply rocking it on the field with the NFL, the video game series, which often shows off the top players of the league on their cover simply chose to ignore the Carolina Panthers’ starting quarterback.
Newton confessed that he felt ‘disrespected’ that he has never been called for Madden ratings. Recently, Madden revealed Philadelphia Eagles running back, Saquon Barkley, will be on their cover for their 2026 series. For 2025, Madden had Christian McCaffrey on their cover and then passed the torch to Barkley. When Newton was playing in the NFL, Madden chose other players like Rob Gronkowski and even Odell Beckahm Jr. to represent them on the cover.
