Cam Newton, former NFL quarterback, clapped back at YouTuber Kai Cenat and comedian Druski who made fun of his outfit at the BET awards last Monday night. Cenat and Druski were spotted laughing hilariously when they saw Newton show up with a sleeveless satin floral vest with matching pants, a green scarf around his neck, and a cowboy hat. Of course, the retired Carolina Panthers had his classic shades on.
In the vide,o which went viral, Druski can be seen comparing Newton’s outfit to a tablecloth, with Kai Cenat asking why the retired NFL legend would even choose to wear an outfit such as this. Cam Newton discussed this very topic in a recent episode of the ‘4th and 1’ podcast, calling both Cenat and Druski out.
“When it comes down to this, you know, bold brashness, hey bro, I’m every Black man’s dream. Why? It’s because I represent the real ones. I don’t want to tuck my tail, or cower, or shake, or just nothing. Because Cam gonna be Cam. Every platform you done seen me on — whether the NFL, whether ESPN, whether BET — I’m going to be M.E. Man, come on, dawg. But that’s cool, y’all can giggle, y’all can snicker, look at him. Okay, cool, but them guns is out.” Cam Newton said on his ‘4th and 1’ podcast about Kai Cenat and Druski.
Cam Newton is indeed known for dancing to his own tune and has been known to break norms, even during his time in the National Football League. When he was a professional footballer, Newton was crowned Sportsman of the Year twice at the BET awards.

Cam Newton is also known to drop truth bombs about himself left and right on another podcast of his ‘Funky Friday’. In last week’s episode, Newton had K. Michelle on board as a guest and discussed how his fatherhood experience might be slightly different from usual, considering he has eight children with different women.
Newton is also currently expecting another child with his current girlfriend, Jasmin Brown, after fathering a child with her last year. Apparently, the retired NFL quarterback does not want the mothers of his children to feel like they are single parents, especially since he gives them all plenty of support. He also reiterated the fact that each of the women know well about his family situation before entering a relationship with him.
