Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears quarterback, was all in awe of tennis player Coco Gauff, after she won the French Open on Saturday. In doing so, Gauff becomes the first American to win the prestigious tournament since Serena Williams, who clinched victory in 2015. Gauff was matched with Aryna Sabalenka in her finals and won with an impressive show to grab her second Major title.
Williams shared a side by side picture of Coco Gauff and Serena Williams doing a victory pose on his Instagram, with a statement by ESPN announcing Gauff’s victory in the French Open. The quarterback also shared a one-worded catchy caption, showcasing his emotion for the tennis star’s win.

While Caleb Williams is celebrating Coco Gauff’s victory on social media, in real life the football player will be getting to the grind to ensure a smoother record for his team, the Chicago Bears. Williams will be entering his second season with the Bears after experiencing plenty of ups and downs in his rookie year with the team. In his very first season with the Bears, Williams threw for a total of 3,541 yards, scoring 20 touchdowns, while managing six interceptions.
Caleb Williams’ Bears Had An Offseason Full Of Repairs According To NFL Insider
On another note, Caleb Williams’ team seems to have gone all out to help the quarterback during this NFL offseason. According to NFL insider, Adam Schefter, the Bears believe in Williams and his qualities so much so that they have done everything they can to protect the quarterback on the offensive front.
“They then go out and trade for three different offensive linemen to go fortify a leaky offensive front to protect Caleb Williams.” Adam Schefter said about the Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams.
The Chicago Bears have also gone through several major changes as a team together. Perhaps the biggest and most important change was the arrival of Ben Johnson. After Johnson started working with the team, there were rumors going around of tensions between him and the starting quarterback, particularly because of the head coach’s unconventional and strict methods of coaching. However, Ben Johnson’s arrival has also signaled a promise of better performances in the upcoming NFL season, especially since the HC is known for being creative in terms of offenses.
