Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears quarterback, is getting plenty of advice as the player prepares to enter his sophomore season with the team. One of the latest to dole some pearls of wisdom was none other than John Middlekauff who discussed the quarterback’s expected performance in an episode of his ‘3 And Out’ podcast.
Williams has plenty of expectations resting on his shoulders and has been pretty much given all the best tools to perform by the team. The biggest improvement that Williams is experiencing this year is a change in coaching, with Ben Johnson taking over as head coach. Middlekauff basically asked Caleb Williams to learn as much as he can from NFL legends, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, and essentially drop the ball rather than try to carry it for a touchdown.
“If you’re Caleb, you need to learn from these guys. Just get rid of the ball. Just dump it. Not everyone is Steph Curry shooting fadeaway threes. You can’t always run around and try to throw deep bombs. The way Jared Goff got his career back on track with Ben was just getting rid of the ball quick. Just getting it out of your hands. This is the NFL. It’s a space game.” John Middlekauff advised Caleb Williams in his ‘3 And Out’ podcast.

Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears had one of their worst seasons last year and are going all out to improve their record in the 2025 NFL season. The Bears have strategized their offense around QB Williams, especially with Ben Johnson’s pro-offense mindset.

Caleb Williams Wants To Learn F1 Racing
Meanwhile, Caleb Williams seems to have set his sight on learning F1 racing after being inspired by the latest Hollywood movie, ‘F1’ featuring Brad Pitt. Williams shared a tweet on his X account that the movie is one of his top three movies and that he is also planning on learning to drive an F1 car someday.
“F1 movie is top 3 for me EVER. Bucket list learn how to drive n F1 car!!” Caleb Williams tweeted through his X account.

However, fans of Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears were not too thrilled about his tweet. The comments section of the tweet was filled with remarks from NFL fans who suggested the quarterback to train better for better performance with the Bears. Williams and the Bears will be kicking off their 2025 NFL season with a matchup against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1.
