Get to Know: Cornerback Gabe Jeudy-Lally
After a making a solid name for himself 3 years at Vanderbilt University, Gabe Jeudy-Lally is more than ready to advance his skills at BYU. The Cougars was the spectacular cornerbacks final decision after considering his options. Jeudy had offers from Iowa State, Colorado, Purdue, Illinois, once word got out he entered the portal late last November. Through consistent competition in the SEC, Cougar Nation is excited about what Gabe will bring to the table.

Career stats for the new man in cougar blue: 63 total tackles along with two interceptions. Although Vanderbilt had trying seasons, teams respected his coverage ability and avoided play calls on his side of the field. After facing NFL caliber quarterbacks such as Ole Miss Matt Corral, Gabe has built even more confidence throughout his SEC college football experience.
With nationally televised games facing Oregon, Notre Dame, and Stanford, the Cougars defense will still take it one game at a time. The BYU Cougars open up the season away against South Florida, Sept. 3.
