One of Josh Allen’s favorite targets isn’t leaving the Buffalo Bills, anytime soon.

The Bills and playmaking wide receiver Khalil Shakir agreed to terms on a massive contract extension, just as the NFL Scouting Combine is getting underway in Indianapolis.

In a move first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Shakir’s new deal is a four-year pact worth up to $60.2 million and includes $32 million guaranteed at signing.

Shakir, 25, isn’t just an ascending talent but the Bills’ most consistent playmaker at the position, and Buffalo rewarded him as such with this new contract.

The six-foot and 190-pound playmaker is fresh off the strongest season of his career, and quickly helped quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills forget about Stefon Diggs, whom Buffalo traded to the Houston Texans last offseason.

Shakir finished the 2024 campaign catching a career-high 76 passes, on 100 targets, for 821 yards and four touchdowns.

Under the terms of his new deal Shakir is now the 20th-highest-paid wide receiver in the sport, and could see his role expand in 2025 and beyond, as he continues to build on his chemistry with Allen.

Through the first three seasons of his career, since being chosen by the Bills in the fifth-round of the 2022 NFL Draft, out of Boise State, Shakir has caught 125 passes for 1,593 yards and seven touchdowns.
