The Buffalo Bills‘ fans are known for being a unique fanbase. Having the nickname “Bills Mafia”, the fanbase tends to perform some crazy stunts. Sometimes, that means jumping on tables in the parking lot that are on fire. Other times, it leads to Bills fans taking it a step too far and throwing snowballs at opposing wide receivers. However, this time, it backfired.
Buffalo Bills Fan’s Snowball Backfires
A Buffalo Bills fan attempted to throw a snowball at Kansas City Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling. However, the fan appeared to miss his target, as the snowball hit Bills CB Cam Lewis instead in a sensitive area. This all happened when both players were in the right corner of the endzone, chasing down a pass by QB Patrick Mahomes.
Repeating Occurrence
Believe it or not, this is not the first time that Bills fans have tried to throw snowballs at opposing wide receivers in the playoffs. This happened last week as well. Back then, the target was Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens.
This is something that seems to have gotten the attention of other NFL fans and media members. Now that it is confirmed to be a repeating occurrence, the Buffalo Bills and/or the NFL may have to step in and address this in the offseason.
