Brett Favre’s wife, Deanna Favre, recently received some sympathy from former New York Jets ‘Gameday Host reporter, Jenn Sterger. Sterger was recently in the news after a documentary on Brett Favre was released a few days back, titled ‘UNTOLD: The Fall Of Favre’. The documentary covers a number of Favre’s negatives, including inappropriate messages which he sent to Sterger while he was still married to Deanna.

The incident happened around 15 years back when Brett Favre played his solo season with the New York Jets. Sterger, who was an on-field reporter for the Jets, received a string of sexts from the now-retired quarterback.

While Sterger has not exactly revealed the messages themselves, the content is reported to be highly explicit and also contains pictures of Favre’s genitals, which he sent to her. In her recent appearance on ‘The George Janko Show’, Sterger was asked if Deanna Favre had reached out to her after the scandal came to light, to which she denied.

“Who could blame her? Like she is one of the those people that I genuinely feel sorry for…They talk about it a little bit in the film. At one point, she was battling breast cancer.” Jenn Sterger said about Deanna Favre, Brett Favre’s wife.

Brett Favre played in the NFL from 1991 to 2010, starting his career with the Atlanta Falcons in 1991. After the Falcons, Favre played for the Green Bay Packers, the New York Jets and finally the Minnesota Vikings before retiring as a player. Before the NFL, Favre played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. The incident with Jenn Sterger occurred in Favre’s single and only season with the New York Jets.

Brett Favre And Deanna Favre Are Still Married And Are Going Strong Today

Despite Brett Favre bringing much pain to her, Deanna Favre, the retired quarterback’s wife, seems to have put the past behind her and is still married to him. The sexting incident with Jenn Sterger was not the only controversy in Brett Favre’s career. Favre also had a major addiction to painkillers which further strained their marriage. However, the couple went to therapy and seemed to have brought about a resolution to the problem.

Brett Favre and Deanna Favre have been together since their high school years and got married in 1996. The couple has two daughters together and even though Brett Favre has brought her plenty of shame and embarrassment, Deanna Favre has never left his side and has continued to be a strong source of support.
