BREAKING: Aaron Rodgers Arrives In Person Today To Meet With Potential New Coach

The Aaron Rodgers wait may be coming to an end.  Ever since the New York Jets announced that they were choosing to move on from the four-time MVP quarterback, there have been a handful of teams interested in signing him.

Today, he is in person to meet with of those teams.

According to Steelers beat reporter Gerry Dulac:

BREAKING: Aaron Rodgers is at the Steelers facility today, an indication a deal with the team could be forthcoming, per sources.

Ari Meirov further elaborated on how head coach Mike Tomlin has been an advocate for this move:

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin has been the strongest advocate for bringing Aaron Rodgers to Pittsburgh. He wants it to happen. With Rodgers in the building, a deal could come to fruition.

Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson are currently the Steelers’ only two quarterbacks on their roster. After Kenny Pickett was benched in 2023 (and before Rudolph wanted more than the Steelers were willing to pay), Rudolph performed well down the stretch for the Steelers.Thompson, like Rudolph, once played in a playoff game for Buffalo.

While many thought that Pittsburgh may be pivoting to the 2025 NFL Draft for a quarterback, this report changes everything.  Here is a look at Rodgers’ career stats against Pittsburgh:
