Despite mandatory minicamp well in the rearview mirror, Miami Dolphins wideout Braxton Berrios is trending on Twitter for a six-month-old interview. On Father’s Day Sunday, the NFL aggregate account MLFootball tweeted an old excerpt from an interview between Berrios and Up & Adams host Kay Adams.
Berrios spoke with Adams about all things Dolphins in early January. They also discussed his relationship with social media star Alix Earle. MLFootball brought up an old quote from Berrios about his relationship with Earle, and the official Up & Adams Twitter account even retweeted it with a link to the full interview. Berrios, who will return to Miami in 2024 on a one-year deal, openly discussed his relationship with Earle in an interview from six months ago. He also shared some relationship advice he received from head coach Mike McDaniel.
Miami Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel: Gives Relationship Advice to Wideout Braxton Berrios

All signs point to the Miami Dolphins having a long-term answer at head coach with Mike McDaniel, formerly of the San Francisco 49ers. The AFC East squad is fresh off their first 11-win season since 2008 and made the playoffs for a second straight season, an accomplishment they last achieved in the early 2000s. The offensive-minded McDaniel resurrected the career of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and helped guide wide receiver Tyreek Hill to an MVP-caliber season.
McDaniel is also an outspoken coach known for his humorous antics with media members and teammates. Particularly, McDaniel’s energetic personality has affected wide receiver Braxton Berrios. Late last season, Berrios shared some exchanges with his head coach during an interview with Kay Adams, host of the Up & Adams Show, specifically those surrounding his relationship with TikTok star Alix Earle.

After asking more football-related questions, Adams pivoted toward Berrios’ famous relationship with Earle, asking if he has received any relationship advice from his head coach.
“I think it’s more satire than actual advice. Supposedly, he is very comfortable and confident about his game of getting his wife, but there is not much advice. Today, he told me to get married, and that everything gets better, so I guess that is a little bit of advice… You know she’s incredible; you’re right. Coach McDaniel loves to chirp me about that.”
Berrios finished his interview, making it known he is hunting for his second Super Bowl ring. “I do have a ring, but I would love to quote on quote get a second, but really be a part of one.” He was a New England Patriots team member that won the Super Bowl in 2018 but did not play due to injury.
