Now, Belichick’s daughter-in-law has also spoken out publicly about Hudson.
Jennifer Belichick, the wife of Bill’s son Steve, issued a short quote that has caught the eyes of many fans.
“Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” she said.
Following the clip going viral, Belichick issued a statement in defense of Hudson.
“I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep that conversation centered on the book,” Belichick said. “After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.”
Belichick made the switch to the college level back in December, with the team officially announcing him as its new head coach back on December 11, 2024.
Hudson has taken a lot of attention away from the North Carolina football program with her presence. The distraction has continued getting bigger the longer she has been involved.
