Bill Belichick could have gotten a girlfriend from an older age group, and he would have raised fewer eyebrows, or none at all—at least, according to how one analyst sees the matter.
In one of the recent episodes of his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock slammed University of North Carolina football head coach Bill Belichick for the huge age gap he has with his girlfriend, 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.
“I’m asking this in all seriousness,” Whitlock said.”Because there’s a woman who follows me on Twitter she tweeted at me when I complained about this. She was like ‘Hey uh you know there’s nothing to rejuvenate a middle-aged man like a young woman.’ She kind of defended it and it blew my mind. So I’m like at 73, if he were in a relationship with a 40-year-old woman, I’d have nothing to say about it, that’s a grown woman.”
“[But] this is a grad student,” he continued. “He’s on a college campus. There are other 24-year-old girls out there. Am I wrong for thinking like, ‘hey man, God has a 40-year-old [or] 39 [or] 42.’ I’m telling you, I wouldn’t bat an eye, I wouldn’t utter a word of complaint. Is that reasonable?”
Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson have faced significant public scrutiny due to their 49-year age gap. Critics have questioned the dynamics of their relationship, with some labeling it unconventional or inappropriate.
The couple’s public appearances and Hudson’s active role in Belichick’s professional life have further fueled debates about the blending of personal and professional boundaries. Social media has been a platform for both support and criticism, with some detractors targeting the couple for their age difference and perceived power dynamics.

Despite the backlash, Belichick and Hudson have remained steadfast in defending their relationship. Hudson has been vocal on social media, addressing critics and emphasizing that love transcends age and societal expectations. The couple has also highlighted their shared interests and mutual respect, which they believe form the foundation of their bond.

How Long Has Bill Belichick Been Coaching?
Bill Belichick began his journey in 1975 as a special assistant for the Baltimore Colts and later held various assistant coaching roles with teams like the Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, and New York Giants. As the defensive coordinator for the Giants under head coach Bill Parcells, Belichick developed dominant defenses that contributed to two Super Bowl victories in 1987 and 1991. His success led to his first head coaching position with the Cleveland Browns in 1991.

In 2025, Bill Belichick transitioned to college football, taking on the role of head coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
