It does not appear that Jordon Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of Bill Belichick, the 73-year-old North Carolina Tar Heels head coach, is very thrilled about the nature of the reports that have been coming out about her in recent weeks.
While no one in the public is exactly sure when the pair first started dating, it is known that they have been together for about the last two years, dating back to Belichick’s final season as the head coach of the New England Patriots.
But while the couple kept their dating life secret for the first several months, they are now at the center of the college football world, and not for reasons connected to what the six-time Super Bowl winning coach is doing to build the Tar Heels program.
Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick Have Received Plenty of Bad Press Following a CBS Interview
A few weeks ago, Belichick and Hudson were the focus of a report that detailed their strange, unprofessional, and awkward behavior during an interview the legendary head coach did with CBS.
In the final edit of the interview, which was aired to the public, Belichick was asked how he met his girlfriend. From off camera, Hudson can be heard saying, “We are not going to talk about that.”
Later, it was revealed by Pablo Torre of Pablo Torre Finds Out that this interruption was far from the only one during the sit-down with CBS. Furthermore, Hudson’s behavior and unprofessionalism led the network to cancel their second interview with Belichick, who was trying to promote his new book. Torre is also the one who initially reported North Carolina had banned Hudson from their football facilities.
In the weeks that have followed, Torre has done a great deal of digging into Hudson and her involvement in Belichick’s pursuits outside of North Carolina. His findings have not, of course, been flattering, and the 24-year-old beauty pageant contestant is getting frustrated.
Jordon Hudson Responds to Pablo Torre’s Reporting on Herself and Bill Belichick
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Hudson has responded to Torre’s reports on Instagram and may have hinted that she will pursue legal action if he does not stop digging:
“The Instagram comment, which was posted then deleted, said this: “Pablo Torre’s ‘findings’ have been nothing short of factually incorrect, slanderous, defamatory and targeted. Can y’all please stop giving credibility to this ‘reporter’?’”
As Florio notes, Hudson has since deleted the comment, probably because she knows that any suit filed against Torre could lead to more discoveries that would paint her in an even worse picture.
One thing is clear as day at this point: the Belichick-Hudson reporting is not going away anytime soon.
