Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson have been nothing but a distraction for fans ever since their relationship started to go public. It has gotten to the point where North Carolina even had to issue a statement saying that she wasn’t banned from the premises, contrary to popular belief.
However, how the two first met just blew wide open.

Despite Belichick’s move to college football being intriguing on its own, recent attention has shifted to his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson:
One of the major headlines from the offseason occurred last month during an interview Belichick gave on CBS, where he discussed his life, new book, and football.
During the interview, Hudson was present in the room. The conversation took an unexpected turn when asked how he and Hudson met. Hudson quickly interjected, saying, “We’re not talking about this.”
Belichick stated that the aired eight-minute segment did not accurately represent the full 35-minute interview. He informed his publicist that he wanted interviews for his book tour to focus solely on his book. He claimed he “repeatedly expressed” these wishes to CBS’s Tony Dokoupil and the production team, but they did not heed his request.
After several attempts to redirect the conversation, Hudson intervened to help steer the discussion back on track. CBS has denied these allegations.
People’s Magazine reported that Belichick and Hudson began dating in early 2023 following his breakup with Linda Holliday, who was his girlfriend for 16 years. Although their relationship has recently garnered attention, former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre noted that Belichick and Hudson have actually known each other for nearly five years.
“The first time that people spotted Jordon Hudson around Bill Belichick was when he was the coach of the Patriots,” Torre said. “In the fall of 2021, it wasn’t 2023, they’ve known about her showing up as early as the fall of 2021.
She was sitting, I was told, in Bill’s outdoor seats at Gillette. She was spotted in those seats as early as that. So, the question of like, ‘Who is this person coming around now? What’s her deal? What does she want?'”

Torre revealed he spoke to 11 sources and provided a grim overview of Hudson’s role in Belichick’s personal and professional life. Additionally, Torre reported that Hudson had been “banned” from UNC’s football facility, a claim that the university quickly denied.
Belichick’s contract includes an intriguing clause: his buyout decreases from $10 million to $1 million. This has prompted Torre to express that he believes there is “absolutely a real chance” he may not be the head coach by Week 1.
The Tar Heels are set to open the season against the TCU Horned Frogs on Sept. 1.
