The Ohio State Buckeyes faced the Texas Longhorns in the college football playoffs semifinals and Ohio State came out on top against Texas 28-14. The Buckeyes won the national title against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 34-23 in the following game.
The Longhorns and the Buckeyes will meet each other in Week 1 at Buckeyes Stadium in Columbus, Ohio to begin the 2025 college football season. Both of these college football teams are going to be ranked in the Top 5 once the season comes. It was announced that the Buckeyes and the Longhorns will open the season on Saturday, August 31 with kickoff scheduled for NOON ET on FOX. A lot of Buckeyes fans voiced their displeasure about this once again.
Ohio State Buckeyes Fans Furious With Week 1 Start Time Against the Texas Longhorns
To no surprise, Ohio State fans are not happy with the NOON ET start time for Week 1 at home against Texas. This is what some Buckeyes fan said about the start time on Twitter:

They Noon only gimmick was cute at first in the late 2010s. Since about 2021 it’s become more lame each year. If you care about Fox being a serious college football network, you’ll change before it drags you to the bottom.

It seems as if Ohio State fans are going to not be happy about the start times on FOX for the upcoming 2025 college football season. The game should be against Texas in primetime, but these NOON starts are ridiculous and it is understandable why the fans have complained.
