Ben Affleck, award-winning actor and filmmaker, was a recent guest on the ‘New Heights’ podcast with Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce. Affleck spoke out on a number of topics, including his interest in the NFL. According to the conversation, Affleck was a major NFL-geek long back, but stopped taking too much interest in the game after veteran quarterback Tom Brady left the New England Patriots.
Tom Brady played for the New England Patriots all the way from 2000 to 2019 but then left the team after his priorities did not match those of the then coach, Bill Belichick. After leaving the Patriots, Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played for them from 2020 to 2022. With the Patriots, Brady won six Super Bowls, and won one championship ring with the Buccaneers.
“I’m like—I could tell a fucking guy’s combine numbers and shit, you know what I mean? Yeah. Just like … who looks like … I’m not that into this Kind of like when Tom left New England and that whole thing. I was like, I had to step back from—I was kind of like—I stopped.” Ben Affleck said in the ‘New Heights’ podcast with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce.
Ben Affleck has always been vocal about his love for the New England Patriots in the NFL. Even when he has tight schedules while shooting for a film, the popular actor sets aside to stay in touch with what’s happening with his beloved team. However, after Brady let the Patriots after the 2019 NFL season, Affleck has not been seen taking an active interest in the sport.

Ben Affleck’s Favorite Player’s Former Coach Could Lose His Job At UNC
Ben Affleck’s favorite NFL player, Tom Brady, revealed many moons ago that one of the reasons for his quitting the New England Patriots was because of internal conflicts with the team’s then-coach, Bill Belichick.

Belichick, now no longer with the NFL, is still continuing to make headlines, especially because of his awkward interview with CBS recently, which threw his relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson into scrutiny.

Reports are that Belichick might lose his job with the UNC Tar Heels, with whom he was supposed to start working some time this year. Apparently, the university is not happy with Belichick’s relationship and that the 73-year-old former NFL coach/manager wants all his emails to go to his girlfriend as well.
