For the first time since 2012, someone other than Justin Tucker will be kicking field goals for the Baltimore Ravens. The owner of the best career field goal percentage in NFL history, Tucker is an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and five-time First Team Hall Pro. He was also named to the Hall of Fames 2010s All-Decade Team and has a Super Bowl title to his name.
But, in the end, none of those accomplishments will mean anything. Earlier this offseason, Tucker was released by the Ravens, who then selected Tyler Loop in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft to replace him. The move came following Tucker’s worst season of his career, which saw him make just 73.3% of his field goals.
However, everyone knows (though the Ravens refuse to admit it) the real reason he was cut was because of the allegations against him.
Former Baltimore Ravens Kicker Justin Tuckers Has Been Accused of Sexual Misconduct

At 35 years old, Tucker likely could keep on playing in the NFL for a few more years. Despite his down season in 2024, there are plenty of kicker-needy teams that could sign him to see if he has anything left.
However, that is likely not going to happen. At least, it shouldn’t.
As many fans are well-aware, Tucker has been accused of sexual misconduct by no less than 16 massage therapists in the Baltimore area. Some massage parlors have reported that he was banned from their facilities because of inappropriate behavior.
The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between 2012 and 2016.
Tucker, who proclaims himself to be a devout Catholic and is married with a young child, has denied any wrongdoing.
The Ravens, meanwhile, have been silent about the whole thing.
Fans Drag Baltimore Ravens Head Coach Jon Harbaugh for Calling the Decision to Cut Justin Tucker “Complex”

Baltimore, like the other 31 NFL teams, is currently in the midst of their voluntary OTA’s. After practice this week, head coach Jon Harbaugh spoke with reporters, and was asked about Tucker’s release. His answer angered many fans.
“I mean, you’re talking about arguably the best kicker in the history of the game,” Harbaugh said after the team’s second OTA practice of the offseason. “And like we said, it’s multi-layered [and] it’s complicated. But in the end, it all comes back to what you have to do to get ready for your team to play the first game. And I think if you step back and you take a look at all the issues and all the ramifications, you can understand that we’ve got to get our football team ready and we’ve got to have a kicker to go. And that was the move that we decided to make.”
As one can see, Harbaugh did not even mention the allegations, nor did he speak on the NFL’s investigation into them.
This, of course, follows the pattern the Ravens have laid down since Tucker was first accused. They are not saying or admitting to anything.
Fans would like for them, at the very least, to at least acknowledge the allegations and admit they played a [significant] role in the decision to cut Tucker:
1. Not the best kicker in NFL history.
2. He’s sexually abusing women, left and right, what’s complicated? https://t.co/u2pMVldu3j— MICHELLE (@micha2334) May 29, 2025
Just stop people in the Ravens organization. Nobody buys any of this 🤦🏻♂️ https://t.co/tLnlJr8wjz

Why was it a complex decision? https://t.co/zTf5BbNrVw

I can simplify it:
Scumbag off the field +
Was missing a bunch of kicks on the field = CUTThere ya go Harbaugh https://t.co/Kqgw2FV5y2

You drafted someone to replace a kicker who’s game had fallen off and was racking up sexual assault allegations. It wasn’t that hard at all! https://t.co/sQWy0UGvfB

This entire ordeal has become a public relations disaster for the Ravens, and their silence on it has only made the situation worse.
Unfortunately, it seems as if they are going to continue ignoring the issue, at least publicly.
