The Dallas Cowboys are entering one of the most pivotal seasons in recent history — with three of their top playmakers due for contract extensions — and their head coach working on the final year of his contract. It’s clear Jerry Jones hopes the current roster can get past the playoff demons that have haunted this team in recent years and make a run to the Super Bowl in 2024. If not? The 2025 Dallas Cowboys could look very different. There’s absolutely a chance Dak Prescott will no longer be the team’s QB following 2024 and Mike McCarthy will be…

The Dallas Cowboys have played the slow game all offseason, with Jerry Jones sitting back and making very few significant moves while other teams in the NFL add new talent and lock down their top players with contract extensions. While Jones is clearly committed to sticking by the current squad led by head coach Mike McCarthy and QB Dak Prescott — after three-straight 12-win regular seasons — it’s been interesting to see how the Cowboys owner and GM has decided to play a critical offseason when it comes to the team’s top players heading into 2024. When the 2023 campaign…

The Kansas City Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid are entering 2024 with the chance to compete for their third-straight  Super Bowl title and fourth in five seasons. After it took 21 seasons for Reid to finally capture a Super Bowl title, Reid is seeking his third-straight Super Bowl to continue the almost unstoppable run since the franchise landed Patrick Mahomes as its starting QB. Reid is just the fourth coach to make five Super Bowl appearances, a third Super Bowl title would put Reid with Bill Belichick, Chuck Noll, Bill Walsh and Joe Gibbs as the only head coaches…

The Philadelphia Eagles are in win-now mode and have spent the offseason assembling one of the top rosters in the NFL heading into 2024. Despite taking a step back last season in a year that ended in the Wildcard Rounds against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this is still a roster with most of the players that helped reach the Super Bowl in Kansas City where the Eagles fell just 38-35. Now, GM Howie Roseman has done everything possible to add premium talent to one of the top rosters in the NFL, while locking down key playmakers to set up the…

The Detroit Lions are focused on continuing to ascend in the NFC and make another run at reaching a Super Bowl in 2024. Coming off the best season in more than two decades, the Lions brass was smart this offseason and locked their two biggest offensive playmakers, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jared Goff down by inking new contract extensions for each. The team was able to retain offensive coordinator Ben Johnson — whose name was mentioned at the top of the list for several head coaching jobs following the Detroit Lions offensive success in 2024. At least on paper, everything…

The Dallas Cowboys are in a pivotal place when it comes to their immediate future. Instead of extending Dak Prescott and freeing up salary cap space to add talent that would help them make a run at a Super Bowl in 2024, they are allowing their franchise QB to play through the end of his contract at least as of now. Now, with far less talent —due to players who have left during free agency — Prescott is expected to somehow win this season without the same level of talent he had last season. Either way, there’s a strong chance he…

The San Francisco 49ers are reaching a critical crossroads. As it stands, they are coming off a season where they were one of the best teams in the NFL — and once again — they enter 2024 with one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. The problem? The organization is going to have to pay Brock Purdy in the near future — and as we’ve seen with so many teams in the league it’s hard to retain top-tier talent within the salary cap once the franchise QB gets a major payday. Both of the San Francisco 49ers starting…

The Dallas Cowboys may be entering their final season with Dak Prescott as the team’s franchise QB. So far, Jerry Jones has made it clear he plans to let Prescott play out the final year of his current contract which leaves the team strapped when it comes to paying other talent as so much of this year’s salary cap money is going to the Dallas signal caller. Many believed it would be a no-brainer decision to extend Prescott this offseason so the Cowboys would be able to free up room and fill voids on the roster that will help them…
