To say it’s a pivotal year for the AAC is an understatement.   I will be watching to see if the conference tries to focus on the future. Two new coaches will join the media days.  TCU will introduce Sonny Dykes (formerly of SMU) and SMU will introduce Rhett Lashlee. Two existing coaches will answer pressing questions.   Cincinatti coach Luke Fickel will be asked about Cincinatti leaving, and Ryan Silverfield will answer some about last year’s disappointing season. Tammy Wynette sang in a country twang, D-I-V-O-R-C-E.  This conference will be, next year.
