The Atlanta Falcons are in the organized team activity portion of their offseason this week, but there is one significant piece that is going to miss today’s practice. New Falcons coach Raheem Morris spoke to reporters on Tuesday and said that running back Bijan Robinson is not practicing as he is dealing with an ankle injury.
While he is not the only player for the Atlanta Falcons to sit out of the practice as defensive tackle Grady Jarrett (knee) and sixth-round rookie running back Jase McClellan (foot) are also on the sidelines. However, Morris told reporters that he expects that all the players will be ready for the team’s mandatory minicamp, which runs from June 10-12.
Bijan Robinson had a solid rookie season for the Atlanta Falcons in 2023 as he finished with 214 rushing attempts for 976 yards (4.6 yards per carry) with four rushing touchdowns while also recording 58 receptions for 487 yards (8.4 yards per catch) with four receiving touchdowns. With the offense expecting to take that next step with quarterback Kirk Cousins under center, this could be a significant year for the Falcons’ offense to finally break out.
What should we expect out of the 2024 Atlanta Falcons?

The Atlanta Falcons missed the playoffs last season but have improved significantly on the offensive side fo the football to make themselves a great team heading into the 2024 season. They were able to sign Kirk Cousins as a free agent and drafted Washington Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr. with the eighth pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
With better quarterback play than the combination of Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke, this Falcons team should able to step up and win games.
