Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is once again the center of a controversy, and analyst and critic Jason Whitlock gave his take on Ryan Clark defending Reese from criticisms.
In one of the recent episodes of his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock talked about the issue of Angel Reese and criticized Ryan Clark’s way of defending her from criticism. Whitlock pointed out how Clark showed the toxic “worship of women” that he mentioned “is destroying America.”
“That is my overall point here,” Whitlock said. “The worship of women. This is the religion of many black men. This is the religion of many black women. This is the religion of feminist. Remove color from it. Feminism is the worship of women.”
“Feminism taps into the divine feminine. Feminism is why so many black men wake up every day thinking about how can I not get crossways with the woman that I’m sleeping with because I worship her and I don’t want to get crossways with her in everything that I do and say that comes out of my mouth and every action I say. I want to be in obedience to women.”
“The worship of women is the problem destroying America.”
Whitlock’s comments came as Ryan Clark recently criticized Robert Griffin III over his comments regarding Angel Reese, sparking a heated debate about race and media narratives. Griffin had accused Reese of hating Caitlin Clark, claiming her actions during their season opener proved she harbored personal animosity.
Ryan Clark strongly disagreed, arguing that Griffin’s perspective was flawed and harmful, particularly because Griffin has never had conversations at home about the struggles Black women face. Clark pointed out that Griffin has been married to white women in both of his marriages, suggesting that his experiences may limit his understanding of the challenges Reese encounters.

Jason Whitlock Calls Angel Reese “Angry,” “Bitter,” “Toxic”
In his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock gave his honest opinion of Angel Reese, in light of the recent issues that surrounded the WNBA star.
“The Chicago Sky, they look perhaps worse than they were a year ago because people don’t want to play with Angel Reese,” Whitlock said. “This angry black woman that has some talent, but she’s so toxic. She’s so angry. She’s so bitter. She’s so selfish. No one wants to play with her. There should be a message there that people are missing that this whole persona that she’s taken on, it’s toxic.”

Angel Reese has been silent about the issue so far. She refused to address it post-game and has not had any social media presence since.
