The LSU Tigers started 6-1 last season in college football and they were on the verge of being a college football playoff team. However, LSU finished with a 7-5 record during the regular season, and it caused a massive alarm.

Some players de-committed from the program. One of the biggest names who left was number one recruit, quarterback Bryce Underwood. He decided to go play college football for the Michigan Wolverines. Underwood is from Belleville, Michigan. Head coach Brian Kelly will be entering his fourth season with the football program next season.
Pete Nakos Drops Latest Report About the LSU Tigers NIL Situation

Pete Nakos of on3.com dropped the latest report about the Tigers football program. After Underwood decided to flip from LSU to Michigan, many were wondering what potentially went wrong. Nakos said,
“If Bryce Underwood’s decision to flip to Michigan was a flashpoint, it’s resulted in a flush of NIL dollars.”
Their budget is now north of $18 million. This should help the LSU Tigers football program in the future. It was a debacle of what happened between LSU and Bryce Underwood.

This will be a big season for the LSU Tigers and Brian Kelly. If they do not make the playoffs this season, will LSU make a change at head coach? However, it will be interesting to see what happens because the Tigers may need more NIL money to convince top recruits to stay within the program in the future also.
