Allen Lazard, New York Jets wide receiver, got on his knee to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Camilla Escribens, more than a week ago and shared the news on his social media on Tuesday. Lazard has been dating Escribens, a former Miss Peru, for quite some time, and the two have often been spotted in public forums together.
Lazard asked Escribens to marry him in a beach setting in Montauk with a large heart made of white roses placed in the center of the area. He also set up bunches of white roses all around with candles to match. Both of them were dressed in white, with the wide receiver opting for a Cuban-neck cream-colored shirt with matching pants, and Escribsn wearing an off-white bodycon maxi dress. Lazard and Escribens shared pictures from their special day on their social media handles, with the former Miss Peru proudly flaunting the giant rock in a gold setting on her ring finger.
“Onto the next chapter…💍 05.18.25,” Camilla Escribens captioned her Instagram post, sharing pictures from her beach engagement to Allen Lazard.
Allen Lazard seems to have wisely used his NFL offseason to get engaged to Escribens. He will now have more responsibility on his shoulders as he prepares for his new season with the New York Jets. Lazard has been playing for the Jets since 2023 after moving from the Green Bay Packers with whom he spent several seasons. Before the league, Lazard played college football for the Iowa State Cyclones.

Allen Lazard And Jets To Open Season With Steelers Clash
In other news, Allen Lazard and the rest of the New York Jets will be locking horns with the Pittsburgh Steelers to kick off their 2025 NFL season. Before meeting the Steelers in Week 1, the Jets will be warming up with three preseason games, against the Green Bay Packers, the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Jets will definitely be trying their best to do better in this upcoming NFL season when compared to their previous year. In the last season, New York finished third in the AFC East after winning five games and losing 12. The Jets faced the Miami Dolphins in the last game of their season, and won with an impressive 32-20. However, the win was too late to bring them any progress in the tournament. After their offseason moves, the Jets will be eager to improve their record in the upcoming NFL season.
