Alabama has a history of developing offensive linemen. Because of this, it has become an attractive place for top prospects. They got another one from the transfer portal on Saturday. Former Texas A&M offensive lineman Naquil Betrand announced he has committed to the Crimson Tide.

Alabama Lands OL Naquil Betrand From The Transfer Portal
Betrand is a massive human. He stands 6-foot-6 and 342 pounds and now will be coached up by Nick Saban. The good news for the Crimson Tide is he still has four years of eligibility remaining. Betrand had this to say in a statement to On3.
“I feel as tho nobody develops players better than Bama. The coaching and players they have is a great program and I’m glad to be a part of it. Coach Wolf has a lot of trust in me and I appreciate it and I get to get coached by Nick Saban, a true blessing. Now let’s go win this natty #rolltide.”
2024 Outlook
Alabama will be an early favorite for the national championship next year. Quarterback Jalen Milroe has already confirmed that he is returning for another year and is likely a preseason Heisman candidate. As with any SEC season, getting through the schedule is always the issue. A non-conference matchup at Wisconsin is no easy game. Then regular season matchups against Georgia, LSU, and Oklahoma highlight their SEC schedule.
While the schedule looks daunting for Alabama, Nick Saban has been here before. He has proven he can win in big matchups and take home championships.
