After last week’s result, Alabama is still in shock. They lost to Oklahoma, which pretty much eliminated them from the playoffs unless something crazy happens this week.
While many teams will be preparing to play meaningful football over the next few weeks, the Crimson Tide prepares for 2025. On Tuesday, they received big-time news that will impact them next year.
Alabama Gets Great News On Their Recruit
Alabama has had one of the best defensive ends in next year’s class committed to them, Justin Hill, but there was a lot of smoke that he could be looking to take more visits at other schools, and someone even started a rumor that he would be in Columbus this weekend for the Ohio State vs. Michigan game.
The rumors of Hill looking at more schools seem false because Hayes Fawcett from On3.com stated, “Four-Star EDGE Justin Hill has shut down his recruitment.
BREAKING: Four-Star EDGE Justin Hill has shut down his recruitment, he tells me for @on3recruits
The 6’4 225 EDGE will sign with the Crimson Tide on December 4th

It sounds like Hill will be playing for Alabama next season, and the Crismon Tide looks to be getting a great player.
Alabama has had some troubles on defense this season, so maybe Hill could impact the team next year if he gets playing time in his freshman season.
The Crimson Tide will face Auburn this weekend in the iconic Iron Bowl, and if Alabama can win, they might have a chance at the playoffs.
