Aaron Rodgers possibly going to the Pittsburgh Steelers for the upcoming NFL season is definitely not liked by one person, NFL insider Dan Graziano. In a recent appearance on ‘Get Up’ on ESPN, Graziano warned the Steelers that they might not want to make a decision on Rodgers yet. The football analyst reasoned that the veteran quarterback that they are aiming for is not the same person who he was a few seasons ago.

Rodgers has yet to make a decision regarding the Pittsburgh Steelers. Currently, it looks like the Steelers are the only team who is interested in bringing Rodgers on board. Some other sources close to the quarterback commented that Rodgers may also consider retirement rather than play in the upcoming NFL season.

“Everybody wants to talk about Aaron Rodgers going to the Steelers and that’s their hope. This is not MVP Rodgers, this is not 2020 [season] Rodgers. This is a shell of that. He was a bad quarterback in the NFL last season. He was not markedly better last season than Mason Rudolph was for the Tennessee Titans when he played. I think Rodgers is fine if he shows up. And I think the Steelers are probably fine if he doesn’t. Will they try and trade for Kirk Cousins? Another flawed option at this point in his career? Maybe.” Dan Graziano said on ‘Get Up’ about Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Aaron Rodgers has been playing in the NFL since 2005 after the Green Bay Packers selected him as the 24th pick in the very first round of the draft. In the previous NFL season, Rodgers played for the New York Jets, but performed very poorly. As a result, the quarterback was released by the team in March this year.

Aaron Rodgers Still Desires To Play For Green Bay Packers

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers seems to have some lingering feelings for the Green Bay Packers as indicated by a recent interview. Rodgers had a Q&A session with fans after his appearance on the ‘YNK podcast’ with Mike Stud. The quarterback was asked if he would like to retire as a Packer by someday signing a one-day contract with the team.

Rodgers responded in the affirmative, while he also clarified that it might not make a major difference for him. The quarterback also mentioned that if the team does reach out to him and made the first move, he would possibly consider it.
