Aaron Glenn, the new head coach of the New York Jets, recently discussed Aaron Rodgers’ future with the team. In his first appearance with the media on Monday, Glenn covered several topics of interest for the team, apart from whether Rodgers will be continuing another season with the Jets.
Nevertheless, the public is still scratching their heads as to if Rodgers will play for the 2025 NFL season with the Jets since Glenn explained that the team will be going to make a number of changes in the roster. The new head coach mentioned that he aims to make the best roster there is, and that they’re going to watch all the game taps to understand the needs of the squad.
“We’ve already texted Aaron and me and [general manager Darren Mougey] are going to sit and watch every game tape there is and then we’re going to look at the whole roster. This thing is not about Aaron Rodgers, folks. This is about the roster. We plan on building the best roster that we can so whatever that may be – guard, tackle, defensive tackle – that’s what we’re evaluating. And listen, everybody is under the microscope. That’s just what it is, so we’re going to do the best we can to make sure we build the best roster.” Aaron Glenn said to reporters in the media conference.
