The Las Vegas Raiders had another road game on Sunday afternoon against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Raiders lost to the Buccaneers 28-13. With the win for Tampa Bay, they improved to 7-6 on the season and moved back into first place in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons’ loss against the Minnesota Vikings.
As for the Raiders, they drop to 2-11 on the season. With the loss, they currently hold the number one pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The New York Giants are also 2-11 this season after the loss against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon.
Las Vegas Raiders Thrilled With Tanking After Latest Loss Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Raiders fans know they need to draft a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft. Aidan O’Connell struggled against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. If Las Vegas gets the top pick, they will most likely either select quarterback Shedeur Sanders from Colorado or Cam Ward from Miami. Here is what the Raiders fans had to say about the latest loss:
A good loss for the tank. Defense came alive after the horrible first quarter and the run game was promising. Our offensive turnovers stay embarrassing. Can’t wait for Ward or Sanders next season and more cap space than we know what to do with. Hope things can change.

The Raiders fanbase wants to see the team keep losing in its final four games of the 2024 NFL season. Interestingly, this was more about tanking rather than fans wanting Antonio Pierce fired as head coach.
Face Atlanta Falcons Next
The next time the Las Vegas Raiders play, it will be against the Atlanta Falcons next Monday night. Atlanta is 6-7 this season and it will be a must-win for the Falcons because they are trying to keep pace with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South division.
This is a game that the Falcons can’t afford to lose. It is also a game that the Raiders can’t afford to win if they want to have the number one pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
