College football is less than two months away, and it’s a great time to start examining the different position groups involved in the game. According to a long-time college football analyst, Ohio State has the best players at this position.

Former Georgia defensive player David Pollack, who spent a handful of years on ESPN’s College GameDay before getting let go last season, took to social media on Tuesday and tweeted out Which College Football team has the best running back duo this season? For me, it’s Ohio State.

Which College Football team has the best RB duo this season?

    For me, it’s @OhioStateFB 🌰

Pollack is spot on with this take. It all started this offseason when TreVeyon Henderson decided he would not enter the NFL and return to school for his senior season. Ole Miss’s Quinshon Judkins agreed to transfer to make it the best running back duo in the county.

Henderson and Judkins have been mocked a lot in the 2025 NFL Drafts for being the top running backs off the board next year, and there is a chance that Judkins will go in the first round.

Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Devin Brown (33) hands off to Quinshon Judkins (1) for the scarlet team during the first half of the LifeSports spring football game at Ohio Stadium on Saturday.

Buckeyes fans have been used to Henderson being the lead back the last three seasons, but there is a chance that Judkins will take over that spot this season.

If Judkins had stayed at Ole Miss, he would have been considered the number one overall running back in college football, but now that he is splitting time with Henderson, many people have forgotten how great the young player is.

Judkins rushed for 1,158 yards and 15 scores last season, and in his freshman year in 2022, he went crazy running for 1,567 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Whoever is in charge of the backfield on each drive will be a handful for the opposing defense, and they will also add a quarterback with legs in Will Howard.

The Ohio State running attack will be the best in football this season, and get ready to see them pound the ball just like their rivals Michigan did last year.
