The Baltimore Ravens signed Derrick Henry last offseason after playing his entire career with the Tennessee Titans. Many were wondering if he was slowing down, but that didn’t appear to be the case during the 2019 NFL season.

Henry has a chance to be one of the top running backs in the league this season once again. With having quarterback Lamar Jackson, this combo could potentially be dangerous once again this season.
Baltimore Ravens Running Back Derrick Henry Ranked #2 On FOX Sports Entering 2025 Season

Foxsports.com had different writers contribute to this story about the Top 10 running backs in the NFL entering the 2025 season. They believe that Henry of the Ravens is the second best running back in the NFL right behind Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley entering the 2025 NFL season. Ben Arthur said,
“It appears that the belief that Henry was starting to hit the inevitable decline in 2023 was just a product of the Titans’ offensive line. In his first year with the Ravens, he registered his second career 1,900-yard rushing season. The 31-year-old Henry will fall off eventually, of course. But with how well he takes care of his body and the quality of Baltimore’s offensive line, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him perform at a Pro Bowl level for at least two more years.”
Henry during the 2024 NFL season rushed for 1,921 yards on 325 carries and 16 touchdowns, along with averaging 5.9 yards per carry. He also caught 19 passes for 193 yards receiving and two touchdowns, along with averaging 10.2 yards per carry. Henry was targeted 22 times.
Any other year, Henry would have won the rushing title, but Barkley went over 2,000 yards rushing last season. Even ay 31 years old, Henry may have no signs of slowing down anytime soon. There is a very good chance that he will finish in the Top 5 in rushing this season as long as he can stay healthy for the Ravens.
