“Will Be Good To Go”: Texas Longhorns Fans React To Quinn Ewers Injury News Ahead Of Texas A&M Aggies Matchup

Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers has been in the news this season quite a bit. On Saturday in a 31-14 win against the Kentucky Wildcats, he suffered an ankle injury. This is the first time this year he has been dealing with this issue, but had oblique/abdominal issues earlier in the season.

On Sunday, Ewers underwent an MRI for his ankle injury. According to Anwar Richardson, he said:

“Good news! I’m told Texas QB Quinn Ewers only has a mild ankle sprain and will be good to go for Texas A&M on Saturday.”

This is good news for the Longhorns ahead of the Aggies matchup. The winner of this game will face the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game. Texas is 10-1 this season and Texas A&M is 8-3 this season. This is the biggest game of the season for the Texas Longhorns.

If for some reason Ewers can not play this weekend on the road against the Aggies, head coach Steve Sarkisian would make the switch to Arch Manning at quarterback. The Texas Longhorns are trying to make the SEC Conference Championship Game in its first season with the conference also.
