The Buffalo Bills have defined the term “Trust the Process.” After not making the playoffs for 18 straight years, the Bills have made four playoff appearances in the last five years. They have shown Bills Mafia what they are capable of and how they will continue to succeed in further years. Three main reasons that make the Bills Super Bowl contenders are Josh Allen, their defense, and home field advantage.
Josh Allen Proving Why He is the #1 Rated Quarterback
Josh Allen has proved himself as being one of the most exciting players to watch in the NFL. In Allen’s three full years as a starter, he has 12,040 passing yards, 93 passing touchdowns, and only 34 interceptions. Many people don’t realize how versatile Allen is, especially in the run game since he is 6’5, 240lbs. Allen, in his first three full seasons has 1,694 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns. With Allen at quarterback and the likes of Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, and newly signed veteran Jamison Crowder, their offense is going to put up some electric numbers this year. Their offense was ranked 5th overall last year, but with this talented squad they have the capability of jumping those rankings all the way to number 1.
The #1 Defense in the League
Last year, the Bills had the top ranked defense in the league for good reasoning. The Bills defense gave up a league low 32 total touchdowns in the whole season last year. They held their opponents to 600 yards fewer than the next closest defense and had the second most takeaways, behind the Colts. Matt Johnson, from Sportsnaut, had this to say about the Bills defense, “Buffalo boasts the best safety tandem in the NFL and it gets a healthy Pro Bowl cornerback Tre’Davious White. Throw in young pass rushers Gregory Rousseau, AJ Epenesa and Boogie Basham along with 2022 first-round pick Kaiir Elam on the boundary opposite of White, the Bills have the best NFL defense in 2022.” When this defense is clicking, it’s going to be a very difficult game for opposing offenses.
BILLS MAFIA!!!
Highmark Stadium is growing to be one of the toughest stadiums to play in. The reason behind that, Bills Mafia! The Bills have one of the most loyal fan bases in the league and they show that every year. Highmark seats 72,000 and is sold out every game. The Bills have won the AFC East two years running and that means one thing, hosting playoff games. The Bills are already one of the toughest teams to play in the league, but playing them when the temperature is in the 30’s makes it even tougher. The coldest month in Buffalo is January, which is right when the playoffs start. Bills Mafia shows up and shows out every game making them a league favorite. From jumping through tables in tailgates, to Pinto Ron, this fan base is the most electric in the league.
Are the Bills Headed to Glendale?
The Bills have the best chance out of anyone to make it to the Super Bowl this upcoming year. With their star-studded offense and defense, they are going to put up some electrifying numbers this season. Bills Mafia have been waiting a long time for a Super Bowl, and this might be their best chance to bring one home.
