Amid twists and turns regarding choosing Bad Buddy for the halftime show, it seems the NFL finally made a decision. As per NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, the Puerto Rican Star halftime show will not be reconsidered. But fans beg to differ.

In a viral X post by Gunther Eagleman that has clips of Goodell’s announcement of the event, a fan commented:

“Why not just turn off the NFL? Let’s face it, halftime could suck, but people are still going to pile into the stadium, spend ridiculous amounts of money, and then rinse and repeat.”

BREAKING: NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says he is NOT reconsidering Bad Bunny as halftime performer for the Super Bowl.

That's perfectly alright to me, seeing as I will DEFINITELY watch TPUSA's halftime show instead!

Fans’ emotions hinted at growing frustration in the NFL over this decision. Maybe it stems from the growing frustration of Bad Bunny’s chaos regarding his song choices in the NFL.

Is Bad Bunny Really Headlining the NFL Halftime Show? Fans and MAGA Aren’t Having It

On Monday, NFL commissioners dropped some hot news when they confirmed that the NFL is considering pop star Bad Bunny for the halftime event. He said:

“It’s carefully thought through. I’m not sure we’ve ever selected an artist where we didn’t have some blowback or criticism. It’s pretty hard to do when we have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching.” And emphasized that it’s going to be a “great show.”

While Bad Bunny’s stats are impressive, he is Spotify’s most-played artist. But his choice to play Spanish songs has caused a long-standing debate. Further, MAGA leaders like Trump tagged him as an “absolutely ridiculous” choice for the show and said it’s crazy. What seems like added fuel, TPUSA even announced their alternative event to rival the NFL show.

As Goodell announced this news, many fans had different reactions:

    A fan stated, “Let’s go!”

Another chimed, “Not even worth watching the commercial anymore.”

Another remarked, “I’ll be watching TPUSA’s show.”

While another commented, “Goodell is proof that you can’t fix bought & paid for stupid—he values the big bucks more than he does the country.”

A fan said, “Bad Bunny, huh? Roger?”

This time, the NFL season is going to be a bomb. With MAGA and the NFL’s show right around the corner, it will be a worthwhile show in NFL history.
