The NFL Coach of the Year award goes to the best coach in the NFL. Brian Daboll is a candidate to win this year’s NFL Coach of the Year because of the season he had in New York. Other deserving NFL coach of the year candidates include Kyle Shanahan, Doug Pederson, Nick Sirriani, Kevin O’Connell, Mike McDaniel, and Pete Carrol.

Coaching is important in the NFL. NFL head coaches are required to get the most out of their teams and win football games. Despite losing to Philadelphia Eagles Brian Daboll was the difference in New York during the 2022 season. Brian Daboll has a shot to win NFL Coach of the Year.

Brian Dabbol’s Impact In New York

The New York Giants had a lot of question marks coming into the 2022 season. New York had won 4 games in 2021-22 and needed to get back to winning games. New York finished the 2021 season with a 4-13 record. Brian Daboll came in and changed the culture in the Giant’s locker room. New York started the season 6-2 and played with a chip on their shoulder. Brian Daboll got his players to buy in and guided his team to impressive wins. Wins against Tennessee, Jacksonville, and Green Bay helped the Giants players believe they could do something special. Brian Daboll’s team finished the season 9-7-1 and went to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Brian Daboll had to fix the Giant’s offense and quarterback Daniel Jones. Brian Daboll coached an offense that ranked 18th in the NFL and scored 21.5 points per game. The offense was in sync under Brian Daboll and was able to move the ball. Brian Daboll leaned on the run game and helped Daniel Jones have a successful season. Daniel Jones had fumbled the ball 39 times before Brian Daboll got to New York. Jones only lost three fumbles during the season and passed for 3,205 yards, threw 15 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. Brian Daboll inherited an offense that didn’t have a number one wide receiver. Daboll and Offensive Coordinator Mike Kafka got the most out of unproven wide receivers.

    What about the Other Candidates

Brian Daboll has some fierce competition for the NFL Coach of the Year Award. Kyle Shanahan led the 49ers to the NFC Championship game with a rookie quarterback. Shanahan also won the NFC West and had the 49ers clicking on all cylinders despite losing Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo. Pete Carrol guided the Seahawks to the playoffs despite losing Russell Wilson.

Nick Sirriani did a great job with the Philadelphia Eagles. Sirianni led the Eagles to the playoffs for the second straight season. Philadelphia was the number one seed in the NFC and are fighting for a Superbowl championship. Mike McDaniel got the best out of Tua Tagovailoa and got Miami to the playoffs. Miami had not made the playoffs since 2016. Miami was a hot team throughout the season and almost beat the Bills in the playoffs.

Kevin O’Connell helped the Vikings win 13 games and win the NFC North. O’Connell also got the most out of his talented roster and coached an electric offense. Doug Pederson helped get Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars on the right track. Pederson inherited a mess in Jacksonville because of Urban Meyer. Pederson helped the Jaguars win the AFC South and come back from a 20-point deficit.

Who Has Won The Award Before

Matt Nagy won the award in 2018 with the Chicago Bears. John Harbaugh won the award in 2019 when Lamar Jackson won MVP, Kevin Stefanski won the award with Cleveland in 2020, and Mike Vrabel won the award in 2021.

Of course not. This clown looks like a low IQ moron with that ridiculous dirty disgusting soy boy beard. The dirty beard makes this fool look like a loser. No real man in the 21st century sports these disgusting dirty soy boy beards. Beards are for girly men.
