Next Team Up Mentality
Many were shocked to see the Raiders let Kenyan Drake walk. However, there are some of teams that could use a complementary playmaker in the backfield. Kenyon entered the league under the Alabama microscope. Although he has yet to breakthrough for a thousand yards rushing season, there is still promise. In the right system under the right coaching, the former Crimson Tide can still help a team win a Super Bowl. Here are those teams:
Back To The Desert?

When you look at the Arizona Cardinals running back depth, you notice James Conner then a drop off. No offense to those guys but Kenyan Drake would do The Red Sea more justice. In a division where establishing the run is vital, Coach Kliff Kingsbury would be wise to kick the tires on the former Cardinal. James Conner has shown to produce well with a reliable RB2. Drake could fit the bill at an affordable price as well.
Charged For A Championship!

The Chargers are “infamously” favorited to win the AFC West. The playoffs, however, will still be a tough road ahead in my opinion. Star running back Austin Ekeler is indeed a bell cow and could carry the load. What he is in need of is a true complement. Drake can provide that and more over the crop on the roster right now.
Austin will definitely be needed in the playoffs and the best way to prevent random injury is to limit his carries. With a proven back in Kenyan, the Chargers could do no wrong if they move on him.
Titan UP!

The Tennessee Titans are hoping they won’t have to rely on any back other than No.22. Unfortunately, Derrick Henry is coming off an injury that is yet to be tested this year. Best case scenario, Henry remains upright and Drake only takes Derrick 10-12 carries a game.
Less tread for Derrick during a hopeful playoff run. Worst case, Henry needs more time and Kenyan leads the pack as an experienced starter. Catch my drift?
