The Road to the Top is Hard in the NFL
The Chargers still need to prove themselves. The artist formerly known as the San Diego Chargers came out of the offseason with one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. And, after making a statement in Week 1 against the Raiders – the Bolts weren’t able to pull off the road victory against the Chiefs. Furthermore, it was more of the Chargers losing the game than the Chiefs winning it. Sure, they put up a great fight, and they’re definitely still on the short-list of Super Bowl contenders – but they’re not quite the king of the hill just yet. It was more of the same for the Chargers. Blowing a lead. Struggling in the second half. If they truly want to be taken seriously – these things will need to change. But if they can make these adjustments, and get Justin Herbert back to full health – watch out for the Chargers.
