The NFL is Full of Surprises
Brian Daboll is on to something. He’s effectively brought Saquan Barkley back to life, and given Daniel Jones a brand new one. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not going to win it all, but they’re certainly surprising a lot of us. And it’s refreshing, too. Because it’s not like their roster is stacked, either. Which can only mean one thing – the culture is changing, and I’m excited to see what the final win/loss record ends up at. With the Cowboys effectively out of the running for the NFC East – let’s see if the G-Men can make it interesting for the Eagles – the sure-fire favorite. If the Giants end up in the playoffs, or even close, they may set themselves up for some solid free agents next offseason and get them to contention sooner rather than later.
