The Cleveland Browns have cycled through quarterbacks for decades, but Shedeur Sanders’ first NFL start has finally completed that challenging mission for the franchise that remained unfinished since 1995.

Coach Prime’s son led the Browns to a 24–10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12. Nobody can say his first NFL start was such a flawless show, but it ended team’s 30-year drought.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce couldn’t hold himself while hyping up the rookie signal-caller’s debut victory, saying he was waiting for that moment.
Travis Kelce Can’t Hold Back After Shedeur Sanders’ Browns Show
Fans were begging the head coach Kevin Stefanski to give Sanders a chance, but he put his trust in only Dillion Gabrial. Unfortunately, Gabriel’s show couldn’t bring any great number to the scoreboard.
As he got injured, Shanders got the much-awaited opportunity and led the Browns to victory in his proper NFL debut. That carries an eventful level of weight.
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Kansas City Chiefs tight end couldn’t contain his excitement. As a Cleveland native himself, Travis delivered his emotional reaction with an f-bomb.
“Talk your s— Shedeur, let’s f—— go! My dog goes in, gets his first start, gets his first dub. Let’s f—ing go, man. The 45th starting QB for the Browns since 1994, first Browns QB to win his first official start since 1995. Cleveland’s been waiting for this. We’ve been waiting for this,” Travis said.

Kelce’s words captured the frustration and hope of Browns fans who have endured years of instability under center. His passionate endorsement set the stage for his brother’s a bit more measured take.
Jason Kelce Makes His Stand Clear on Shedeur Sanders’ NFL Debut
Sanders was 11-for-20 for 209 yards, with one touchdown and one interception in a comfortable win vs. the Raiders.
His number lacked sufficient fire, something that Travis’ big brother, Jason, admitted, and he offered a more analytical breakdown of Sanders’ debut.
“In one game, Shedeur showed them more than they had seen, really, in any of the games with Gabriel,” Jason said, referencing previous Browns starter Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
He added, “He didn’t have amazing stats, but he made some big plays and for a first start, won them the game and had some pretty good success. So now we get to see it again.”
Quite frankly, against the easy Raiders, Sanders struggled in relief duty. Then he got a one-week break to warm up and is now facing the mighty 49ers. It will be interesting to see how he handles pressure when Brock Purdy puts up a better score from the red side.
