One of the biggest stories early on in the 2024 college football season was the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Dylan Raiola. Nebraska showed signs of potential, but they have struggled over the past several weeks. Nebraska this season is 5-5 and they will face the Wisconsin Badgers and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
This week, the Cornhuskers will host the Badgers with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. Wisconsin is also 5-5 this season and is looking to get to be bowl-eligible as well.
Nebraska Cornhuskers Quarterback Dylan Raiola Makes Bold Statement On Monday
Early on in the college football season, many people thought that Nebraska could be a contender in the BIG10 Conference and potentially make some noise. It has been rough for the Cornhuskers ever since getting off to a fast start.
On Monday, freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola spoke to the media. There is also a new offensive coordinator. The Cornhuskers have lost four straight games after starting the season 5-1. They just need one more win to become bowl-eligible. Raiola said:
“We’ll get the win next week and get us to a bowl.”
He is speaking with confidence ahead of the matchup against the Wisconsin Badgers. They should beat Wisconsin, but it would be a bad sign if they didn’t.

Imagine leaving a team knowing you’d have players like Jeremiah Smith, Emeka Egbuka, Carnell Tate, Brandon Innis, and Treveyon Henderson just to end up at Nebraska. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

He knows that it hasn’t been good enough offensively and starts with him
Nebraska breaking the 6-win hurdle is needed 💪
For Raiola and coach Rhule
Two opportunities left 👀

But will he get the chance to play in it before he hits the portal?

This season, he has completed 65.5% of his passes for 2,112 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Dylan Raiola needs to be much better for the Nebraska Cornhuskers this weekend against the Wisconsin Badgers. This would be a step in the right direction for the program if Nebraska got to a bowl game this season under head coach Matt Rhule.
