The Los Angeles Rams are not playing Super Bowl LX this season, but they made it to the NFC Championship Game before losing to the Seattle Seahawks. Los Angeles finished with a 12-5 record this season in the NFL during the 2025 season. Quarterback Matthew Stafford was a finalist for the MVP award.

He edged out New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye for the award. Stafford got 24 first place votes, Maye got 23, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills got two votes, and Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers got one vote. There are a lot of Rams fans who are happy that he won the award, and a lot of Patriots feel like Maye was robbed. Well, Stafford completed 65.0% of his passes for 4,707 yards, 46 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He won his first MVP award at 37 years old.

Stafford announced during his MVP speech that he will be returning for the 2026 NFL season. Head coach Sean McVay, running back Kyren Williams, and others were smiling that he is returning next season for the Rams. Los Angeles will be a very good team once again. The biggest question will be can Stafford stay healthy. If so, they’ll be in contention. If not, it could be a problem. However, congrats to him on winning the MVP award this season.
