Nick Singleton, RB, Penn St.
As the former No. 1 running back in the class of 2022, Nicholas Singleton has been nothing short of great for the Nittany Lions offense. In a 30-0 win over Maryland, Singleton rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, while also catching one reception for five yards. His first score came on a big 45-yard run in the first quarter. A few drives later, Singleton found the end-zone for a second time on a 27-yard run.

The true freshman already looks like the next great Penn State running back. Singleton has the seventh-most rushing yards (801) and the fifth-most rushing touchdowns (10) in the Big 10 as a freshman.
Abdul Carter, LB, Penn St.
Another Penn State freshman managed to make this list. This time its linebacker, Abdul Carter. The former 4-star product from La Salle College (PA) dominated on Saturday for the Nittany Lions, recording seven total tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, one pass defended and two QB hurries. Carter looks to be the next great linebacker for the Nittany Lions.
