The Georgia Bulldogs finished with a 10-2 record during the regular season. Georgia won the SEC title game against the Texas Longhorns.

The Bulldogs were the number two seed in the college football playoffs, but they lost to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Entering the 2025 season, Georgia is looking to make another deep playoff run. The Bulldogs are led by head coach Kirby Smart. He spoke at SEC media day on Tuesday morning in Atlanta, Georgia.
Georgia Bulldogs Head Coach Kirby Smart Makes Bold Statement At SEC Media Day

These days in the college football landscape, NIL and the transfer portal have made things difficult for a lot of coaches in college football. Another part of college football that is very hard is the recruiting process as well. Over the years when Smart took over as head coach for this football program, he started dominating the recruiting process and won back-to-back national titles because of it.
Well, Smart spoke to the media on Tuesday morning during SEC Media Day. Well one statement he made about recruiting moving forward is as follows,
“We sell relationships over transactions. We don’t believe in just being transactional. When you’re transactional, you can not reach your ultimate goal without relationships.”
Georgia has found a lot of talent in recruiting, especially four- and five-star recruits. The Bulldogs will no doubt be one of the best teams in the SEC Conference in 2025. It would be a shock if Georgia missed the playoffs for the second time in three seasons. Even though Gunner Stockton is projected to be the starting quarterback, they have a good enough roster to be back in the playoffs despite the departure of Carson Beck.
