The Florida State Seminoles started the season with a 3-0 record, but they have lost their last four games. Florida State is 0-4 in ACC play this season.

The Seminoles were 2-10 overall last season after going undefeated the season before. Head coach Mike Norvell has been having trouble for some reason in ACC games. If this keeps up, there is a chance that Florida State could potentially move on from him as head coach once the season ends. Is there a chance that Norvell could be gone before that?
Florida State Seminoles AD Claims That HC Mike Norvell Will Be the Coach For the Remainder of the Season

Florida State Athletic Director Michael Alford released statement saying Florida State will complete “comprehensive assessment” of the football program “at season’s end.” He also added,
“We are fully committed to helping Coach Norvell and the 2025 Seminoles strongly rebuild in the coming weeks.”
This administration is giving Norvell a chance to turn things around for the remainder of the 2025 college football season. If Florida State were to win out, there is a chance that he could be brought back in 2026. If he loses out and finishes with a 3-9 record, then they are potentially going to be looking for a new head coach in 2026.
Florida State will be on a bye week this week. The Seminoles will next play on November 1 at home against the Wake Forest Deamon Deacons.
